Tatak Balabac Beach Camp is located on Bancalaan Island (approximately 8.2279, 117.1023), roughly 15 minutes by boat from Balabac town pier in the southernmost municipality of Palawan. The camp is positioned beachfront at Sitio Olorga and offers a mix of air-conditioned canvas tents with sea views, tea and coffee makers, and bidets, as well as shared dormitory beach huts. Each tent includes a dining area, outdoor furniture, and sea views. Balabac is one of the most remote inhabited island groups in the Philippines, sitting roughly 20 km north of Borneo. The surrounding waters are part of a protected marine reserve and feature exceptionally clear visibility, giant clams, sea turtles, and extensive coral gardens. The camp provides a base for island-hopping to nearby white-sand beaches and sandbars. Shuttle transfers to and from Balabac town are available for PHP 1,200 per adult (one-way). Activities in the area include snorkelling, hiking, and walking tours.
