Osmeña Peak sits at 1,013 meters above sea level in Barangay Mantalongon, Dalaguete, making it the highest point on Cebu Island. The summit area is characterized by a cluster of jagged limestone and grass-covered hills that closely resemble the Chocolate Hills of Bohol, earning it the nickname the 'Chocolate Hills of Cebu.' On clear days, campers can see the Tañon Strait and surrounding islands from the ridge. The trail from the registration hut to the summit takes 15 to 30 minutes and is beginner-friendly. Camping is officially permitted at the summit and in designated flat areas near the trailhead. Campers must register at the barangay registration hut near the jump-off and pay separate entrance and camping fees. No campfires are allowed; portable stoves must be used. There are no restrooms at the peak itself, though a comfort room exists at the foot of the mountain. Sari-sari stores near the campground sell basic snacks and drinks. Guides are optional but available at the registration area.
