Kiltepan Peak (approximately 1,625 MASL) is one of the most celebrated viewpoints in Mountain Province, situated above the municipality of Sagada. It is particularly famous for a sea of clouds that fills the valley below at sunrise, making it a sought-after spot for both day trippers and overnight campers. The campsite sits near the peak within walking distance of the Marlboro Hills (Kamanbaneng), offering open meadow terrain with panoramic views of the Cordillera ranges. The site is managed by caretakers associated with the local community; camping fees are charged on-site, though the amount is not published in official tourism materials and visitors should confirm the current rate with the Sagada Municipal Tourism Information Center upon arrival. A Sagada environmental fee (PHP 50/person) is collected at the tourism center in the poblacion before accessing any trail. Access to Kiltepan requires a local guide, which can be arranged through the tourism office. No campfires are permitted; the area is sensitive highland grassland.
