Minalungao National Park is a 2,018-hectare protected area in General Tinio (Papaya), Nueva Ecija, centered on a dramatic stretch of the Peñaranda River where limestone walls rise up to 16 meters on both sides. The park sits at approximately 15°18'N, 121°07'E at the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range, near the Bulacan border. Declared a national park, it is managed by DENR Region III. Entry costs PHP 100 per person plus a PHP 50 environmental fee. Activities within the park include bamboo rafting (₱1,200/group), kayaking, swimming, cliff jumping from limestone walls, and hanging bridge crossings. The park has designated picnic and camping areas with cottages for rent at ₱500 per unit. Tent camping is permitted in designated zones. The park does not have in-park hotel accommodation; most overnight visitors camp or stay in nearby General Tinio town. Cell signal is available near the entrance but weakens deeper inside the canyon. The park is primarily a day-use ecotourism destination but accepts campers who obtain permission and pay the appropriate fees at the park entrance.
